Oil Prices Hold Near $104 as Trump Rejects Easing Iran Sanctions, Extending Supply-Side Pressure
Crude prices climbed sharply on Friday as markets digested former U.S. President Donald Trump’s rejection of easing sanctions on Iran, reinforcing fears that global supply will remain constrained. Brent crude moved above $103 a barrel and was on track for its strongest monthly gain since July, while West Texas Intermediate also advanced after briefly crossing $106 earlier in the session.
