Apple Hit With $5.7 Billion Jury Verdict in Haptics Patent Fight
A federal jury has awarded Taction Technology more than $5.7 billion after finding Apple infringed two haptics patents tied to the tactile feedback systems used in iPhones and Apple Watches. Apple said it will appeal, setting up a high-stakes post-trial fight over one of the largest patent verdicts ever returned against the company.
