Tasmac to Raise Liquor Prices From November 1, Tie ₹10 Refund to Bottle Returns

Tamil Nadu’s state-run liquor retailer Tasmac will revise prices of Indian Made Foreign Liquor, beer, wine, other-state liquor and imported brands from November 1, adding an environment cess to the existing maximum retail price. The policy also introduces a ₹10 refund for consumers who return empty bottles, signalling a dual push toward revenue mobilisation and waste reduction.
