Four Dead, Thousands Without Power as Isaias Batters U.S. Coast
Hurricane Isaias tore through parts of the eastern United States on Friday evening, ripping roofs from buildings, toppling trees and leaving thousands of homes and businesses without electricity. The storm weakened into a post-tropical cyclone after landfall, but not before causing at least four deaths and underscoring the vulnerability of coastal infrastructure to fast-moving extreme weather.
