Vedanta Iron Narrows Q2 Loss as Revenue Slips, EBITDA Jumps on Better Realisations
Vedanta Iron and Steel cut its second-quarter loss to Rs 324 crore in Q2 FY27 from Rs 477 crore a year earlier, even as revenue declined 1.7% to Rs 2,742 crore. The company said stronger steel realisations, efficiency gains and record half-year pig iron output helped lift EBITDA 56% to Rs 83 crore, signalling a modest operational recovery despite softer top-line growth.
