Army Nears Major Brain Health Screening Milestone as Blast Injury Concerns Intensify
The U.S. Army says roughly 97% of soldiers have now used its Neurocognitive Assessment Tool, a milestone that signals broad adoption of a system designed to help detect and manage the effects of blast overpressure and repeated low-level blast exposure. The Army’s senior official for safety and occupational health said the data are giving medical professionals a stronger basis for monitoring brain health across the force.
