CPI(M) Has No Link to Online Attacks on Mammootty, Says M.V. Govindan

CPI(M) state secretary M.V. Govindan has denied any organisational connection to online attacks directed at actor Mammootty, framing the controversy as unrelated to the party. He said there was no reason to bar a visit to the veteran actor, especially in a political climate where SFI and DYFI have drawn broad national approval for their campaign against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
