Pure Sulfur Found on Mars Could Unlock Low-Cost Martian Concrete

Scientists have identified a deposit of pure sulfur on Mars, a finding that could materially change how future missions build shelters, pads, and infrastructure on the planet. The discovery matters because sulfur can be used as a binder for concrete-like construction without water, a scarce resource on Mars and a critical constraint for long-duration human settlement.
