Cyclone Murasu: Ramanaidu Puts Irrigation Officials on High Alert as Rivers and Drains Swell in Coastal Andhra

Andhra Pradesh irrigation officials have been placed on high alert as Cyclone Murasu drives heavy inflows into rivers and drainage channels across the coastal belt. The Nallamada and Parchur drains are flowing above maximum levels around Parchur, Bapatla and Chirala, raising concerns over local flooding and pressure on embankments.
