Pratirodha Rally in Dharwad Targets ‘Fascist Forces’ as Opposition Rhetoric Hardens

A Pratirodha rally was staged in Dharwad on Friday night, with speakers framing the gathering as a direct response to what they described as rising fascist tendencies in public life. The event underscored the sharpening language of resistance in Karnataka’s political discourse, even as it remained largely symbolic and movement-driven rather than tied to a formal policy announcement. The rally reflects a broader national pattern in which street mobilisation is increasingly being used to signal ideological opposition and consolidate political identity ahead of future electoral contests.
