Indian Bank Profits Seen Rising 25.4% in Q2FY27 as Margins Recover Gradually, Emkay Says
Indian banks are likely to post a 25.4% year-on-year rise in net profit in the second quarter of FY27, supported by healthy loan growth, stronger income and lower provisions, according to Emkay Research. The brokerage cautioned that higher foreign currency deposits and the normalisation of FCNR-B funding could keep lending margins under pressure in the near term, even as profitability improves.
