Delhi Airport Master Plan Targets 125 Million Passengers as APM Set to Link Terminals and Aerocity
Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport has unveiled a long-range development roadmap to 2036 that aims to lift annual capacity to 125 million passengers, underscoring the capital’s role as India’s most important aviation hub. The plan includes expansion of Pier E at Terminal 3, additional aircraft stands, road upgrades and an automated people mover to connect terminals with Aerocity, signalling a major push to ease congestion and improve airside and landside connectivity.
