'Heggana Muddu' Review: Poorna Anchors a Sharp Relationship Drama Undone by Its Own Contradictions
Avinash Balekkala's Kannada debut, Heggana Muddu, begins as a pointed, unsettling study of an arranged marriage shaped by patriarchy, ego and emotional silence. It is lifted by Poorna's increasingly convincing performance, but the film loses momentum when it splits its leads into separate tracks and loses sight of its core conflict.
