Ashoka University’s award-winning bamboo pavilion, The Hungry Caterpillar, has marked its first anniversary as a distinctive experiment in sustainable campus design. Conceived by Apoorva Shroff’s Lyth Design, the project reimagines the food street through bamboo canopies, 3D-printed kitchens and furniture made from recycled plastic, blending utility with environmental intent.
