Kerala High Court Asks State to Decide on Expert Panel Over Digital Re-Survey Tender Allegations
The Kerala High Court has directed the state government to take a decision on whether to appoint an expert committee to examine allegations of irregularities in tenders for digital survey equipment used in the re-survey programme. The petition, filed by Congress leader Shaji J. Kodankandath, claims the alleged lapses caused a loss of about ₹150 crore to the public exchequer. The court’s order keeps the matter within the administrative domain for now, while pressing the government to respond to concerns over procurement integrity and public accountability.
