India’s Chief Economic Adviser V. Anantha Nageswaran said the second half of FY27 is likely to be more challenging as global uncertainties, firmer interest rates and elevated oil prices weigh on the outlook. He said high-frequency indicators for July and August still point to resilient momentum, but September has already shown strain.
