FTAs Are Opening New Markets for Indian Textiles, Cotton: CAI
The Cotton Association of India said free trade agreements are helping open new export markets and supporting demand for Indian textiles and cotton, even as the sector faces persistent challenges around productivity, quality and contamination control. CAI Chairman Vinay N Kotak said competitiveness will depend on stronger traceability, sustainability, price discovery and risk management across the cotton value chain.
