Delhi Exhibition Traces Four Decades of Change in Indian Art
Sakshi Gallery’s 40th anniversary exhibition at Travancore Palace in New Delhi gathers 46 artists in a wide-ranging survey of how Indian art has evolved alongside the country’s shifting social and political landscape. The show reads less like a commemorative display than a compact history of changing visual language, from material experimentation to sharper engagements with identity, memory and public life.
